Tividale Pride in Place Programme

Tividale in Rowely Regis has been selected to receive up to £20 million of investment through the Pride in Place Programme. This is a long-term programme over the next 10 years to:

  • build stronger communities
  • create thriving places
  • empower people to have more control over local decision-making

The funding will support local improvements led by the people who live and work in the area.

To help shape this work, Sandwell Council as the Accountable Body, is setting up a Tividale Neighbourhood Board and is inviting people from the Tividale area to get involved.

The Role of the Tividale Neighbourhood Board

The Neighbourhood Board will bring local people together to oversee the Tividale Pride in Place Programme.

Over the next 12 months, the Board will:

  • engage with local people to find out what matters most to them
  • create a plan to improve the area, using the feedback from local people
  • decide how the money should be spent to address the priorities of local people
Who can join the Tividale Neighbourhood Board?

Residents and people with a strong connection to Tividale can join the Board.

The members will include local residents, young people, businesses, community groups, elected councillors and the local MP.

If Board membership isn't the right fit, there will still be plenty of opportunities to get involved and share views and suggestions for Tividale. Engagement activities will take place Autumn 2026. Details of these activities will be posted on the Get Involved webpage.
