Tividale Pride in Place Programme
On 20 March 2026, the Government announced that Tividale in Rowley Regis has been selected to receive up to £20 million of investment through the Pride in Place Programme.
This long-term funding is a major opportunity to deliver positive change in Tividale. It puts power into the hands of the community and is designed to ensure that the people who live and work in Tividale help set priorities and shape the future of the town.

The programme will deliver against three core Government priorities:
- Thriving Places
- Stronger Neighbourhoods
- Taking Back Control
How the programme is being delivered
A Tividale Neighbourhood Board is being established to oversee the delivery of the programme, and will work closely with Sandwell Council as the Accountable Body, to ensure that local voices are at the heart of every decision.
The Board recruitment process is currently underway. Recruitment for the Chairperson and Board Members launched on 23 April. The closing date for these positions has now passed, and applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in the coming weeks.
There will still be plenty of opportunities to get involved and share views and suggestions for Tividale. Engagement activities will take place Autumn 2026. Details of these activities will be posted on the Get Involved webpage.
The role of the Tividale Neighbourhood Board
Over the next 12 months, the Board will:
- engage with local people to find out what matters most to them
- create a plan to improve the area, using the feedback from local people and local data
- decide how the money should be spent to address the priorities of local people
