Tividale Neighbourhood Board Membership
The Tividale Neighbourhood Board brings together representatives from the local community, including residents, education, faith organisations, voluntary and community groups, as well as local councillors and the local MP. The Board has been established to provide strategic leadership for the Pride in Place programme and to ensure local people have a strong voice in shaping investment priorities for Tividale.
The Board is independently chaired by Peter Hayward, Trustee at Oakham Church, and works collaboratively to develop and oversee the delivery of the programme.

Governance arrangements
The Tividale Neighbourhood Board operates within an agreed governance framework to ensure decisions are made transparently, fairly and in the best interests of the community.
Sandwell Council acts as the accountable body for the programme and provides administrative, financial and governance support to the Board. The Board is responsible for providing strategic direction, developing investment proposals and overseeing programme delivery in accordance with Government guidance.
Meetings are currently held monthly, with agendas, minutes and key decisions published to promote transparency and accountability.
Terms of Reference
The Terms of Reference set out the purpose, responsibilities, membership, decision-making arrangements and operating procedures of the Tividale Neighbourhood Board and Sandwell Council as the Accountable Body.
They provide the framework through which the Board conducts its business and ensures that decisions are made consistently, transparently and in line with programme objectives.

Code of Conduct
All Board members are required to adhere to the Board's Code of Conduct.
The Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour expected of Board members, including the principles of integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership. Members are expected to act in the best interests of Tividale and to treat fellow members, officers and members of the public with respect.

Conflicts of Interest
All Board members are required to complete a Declaration of Interests form and declare any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest. These declarations are recorded in a Register of Interests maintained by Sandwell Council.
Board members must declare any relevant interest before an item is discussed or a decision is made. Any declarations and actions taken in response, including where a member is required to withdraw from discussion or refrain from voting, will be recorded in the meeting minutes.
These arrangements help ensure that Board decisions are made fairly, openly and in the best interests of the Tividale community.
