Hawes Lane Housing Development
The delivery of 15 new council-owned affordable homes on a vacant council-owned site, comprising a mix of one- to four-bedroom houses, bungalows, and apartments.

As part of the Council House New Build Programme, the development has helped to address local housing need by bringing a previously underutilised site into productive use and increasing the supply of affordable housing.
Project management was delivered by the Council’s in-house Urban Design & Building Services Team, with programme management provided through Housing Partnerships. Construction was undertaken by TR Partnership Homes Limited.
The homes were constructed using traditional masonry techniques and incorporates sustainable technologies, including Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) and Solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels, supporting Sandwell Council's environmental and energy-efficiency objectives.
The completed properties are now owned and managed by the Council, with allocations made in accordance with the Housing Allocations Policy.
