Residents, community groups and local businesses are encouraged to help shape the future of Smethwick by completing a survey to share their views on how to improve the town.
The Smethwick Partnership Board, supported by Sandwell Council, is preparing a 10-year Long Term Plan for the town. The Long Term Plan will be driven by the priorities of local people.
By sharing their views in this short survey, locals are shaping Smethwick’s future and will help identify how up to £20m of funding from Government should be spent in Smethwick. The survey opened on Monday 20 May 2024 and will close on Sunday 28 July 2024.
Complete the survey online. Paper copies of the survey are available at Smethwick Library, Thimblemill Library, Dorothy Parkes Centre and Brasshouse Community Centre.
