The wildlife walk will be led by Jane Grove, Senior Centre of the Earth Development Officer at BBCWT. The main focus of this guided walk will be to get people outside and observe the urban green spaces around West Bromwich in a new way. This event is suitable for all ages; families and young people are welcome, and we ask that children aged under 16 attend with a guardian.

Smethwick Long Term Plan
Have your say on the future of Smethwick.
Residents, community groups and local businesses are encouraged to help shape the future of Smethwick by completing a survey to share their views on how to improve the town.
The Smethwick Partnership Board, supported by Sandwell Council, is preparing a 10-year Long Term Plan for the town. The Long Term Plan will be driven by the priorities of local people.
By sharing their views in this short survey, locals are shaping Smethwick’s future and will help identify how up to £20m of funding from Government should be spent in Smethwick. The survey opened on Monday 20 May 2024 and will close on Sunday 28 July 2024.

Paper copies of the survey are available at Smethwick Library, Thimblemill Library, Dorothy Parkes Centre and Brasshouse Community Centre.
